DILUTED REALITY

Images accumulated in piles of magazines, in advertising catalogs, in garbage containers, in waiting rooms, cell phones full of photographs, newsstands waiting for the eye to rescue some fragment that will compose the next picture.

Diluted Reality is born from all of this, from images that crowd each other, waiting for their moment, for a new presence.

An infinite number of fragments with no apparent meaning, which I manipulate in order to strip them of their initial use and which become siblings again in a claim of protagonism.

The result; the composition becomes an entity, color and form combine to excite the retina; the superfluous, the invisible emerges from the canvas.

The discarded, the broken has always found in the collage an impulse. regenerative, the images demand a new body, the patches of the collage are transferred to the canvas in a continuous skin of paint, there are no more cuts, only memories of what was; the change continues; it comes to an end when the hand and the eye run out of resources; then, you move on to another space, to another encounter with a new fragment, with a new painting, with another diluted reality.
