FROM MY POCKET

Failure to lock the cell phone in an oversight resulted in a series of photographs inside the trouser pocket.

The shutter clicked, shooting thirty photographs as he walked. This generated a series of images of greenish luminous effects, due to the fabric of the pocket and the light from the outside landscape.

These fragments float like islands in the ocean creating a disjointed map, elaborated by an intuitive process of encountering an image.

This random situation gave rise to a chromatic sequencing that was the beginning of the work, like a stained glass window that absorbs the light and then projects it as a light box.

I will develop a series of oil paintings, trying to capture a poetic image of the light effects captured by the cell phone trigger, in a sequencing that will have as many paintings as images shot by the cell phone, adding a blank fragment in most of the occasions, or with some blurred image of elements of nature in the center of the painting.

Again the unexpected as a starting point.
