FRAGMENTS
OF AN INTUITION

Curatorship: Lola Torrero de Lamo

Proposal born from the similarities found in the will to transform “the found object” and the attempt, through different artistic disciplines, to express the intuited in its totality.

A type of multidisciplinary artist is portrayed in this exhibition, one that finds its origin in the consequence, and not in the choice, of a will that prevails over specialization: seeking to be able to share most of that first intuition – mentioned above – of the perfect “spherical concept” that inevitably breaks in the “outside”.

It is, throughout the search, that both artists, from their respective abstract languages, end up formalizing the “limitations in the expression”; presenting pieces as if they were the parts of an unfinishable artistic process, fragments of an own image that will remain in the future.
always in-complete.

The project began to take shape in the meeting of the two visual artists, Pablo Pérez Palacio, from Zaragoza and Jesús Tejero del Campo, from Madrid, during the celebration of a course at Quinta del Sordo (2016).

It was there that they both discovered work and presented concerns to end up sharing their “Fragments of an Intuition” in the José Saramago hall in Leganés (2018).
