Most of the time artists follow an investigative process, more than a creative process, it is the way to establish certain points of support to obtain a criterion. In this case, the tearing of the magazine was the starting point.
The transformative process of the magazine was the consequence of subsequent works; the risk of crossing one door makes others open, this is the great discovery; multiplicity.
In the action of tearing, it gave rise to the mixture between news and photographs that appeared there, forming a new compositional dialogue. The initial object is transformed, losing its origin; the meaning is submerged in abstraction giving rise to the beginning of experimentation with that object.
A change of scenery for the artist, the space is no longer diaphanous, the artist begins to recognize the environment where he moves. This simple action of tearing was the trigger to develop all the subsequent work. The painting, in relief, peeled away from the painting until it became a free-standing lump.
